ABOUT ME & OSIEL

Hi! My name is Abby, and I go to a STEM school called Oklahoma School of Innovation and Experiential Learning (O.S.I.E.L.) in Bixby, Oklahoma. OSIEL is a middle and intermediate school with 2 classes one 7th-9th grade and the other class 4th-6th grade. Each class has 16 kids who all love to learn and travel. OSIEL's ACT curriculum is backed by elite math instruction, hands-on science, immersive social studies, and engaging travel.

OSIEL provides daily instruction in robotics, computer programming, and Spanish. OSIEL's primary goal is for the students to use information and collaboration to research, design, and create in a manner that positively changes the world around them.

To further elevate the quality of education, travel is used to reinforce student learning and provide lifelong experience. This year our students will travel to places in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Boston. In April of 2017, the students spent one week in Puerto Rico. All travel will be tied to our focus of study.

The classes have a maximum enrollment of 16 students. This allows for quality individual instruction, feasible travel, and strong family involvement.
